Biography of Angelina Jolie from Yuddy.com

Monday 30 July 2007 @ 11:42 pm

Angelina JolieAngelina Jolie has gone from modeling, starring in music videos, and acting in student films directed by her brother, to becoming one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood today.  A controversial figure, she is known as much for her acting as she is for her humanitarian efforts, eccentricities, and tumultuous relationships. She is the niece of Chip Taylor, sister of James Haven and the god-daughter of Jacqueline Bisset and Maximilian Schell. People often assume that Jolie’s mother is French, because of her name, but Jolie’s grandparents were French-Canadian.

No Angelina for Bon Jovi

Monday 2 July 2007 @ 7:58 am

Bon Jovi

I have always been a fan of Bon Jovi for so many reasons.  While I was a teenager and enjoying his songs while roller skating at the local rink, I thought for sure I would grow up and marry him.  It was a toss up between him and Kirk Cameron (remember that guy??).  Well, Kirk is out but Bon Jovi has always been a favorite of mine.

I very much enjoyed reading yesterdays Parade Magazine.  I love his quote about Angelina Jolie…

“I think people see the cliché of the Rock Star. We’re supposed to get married every three years … trade in, trade out – I don’t dare say ‘trade up.’ I made a good deal the first time. If Angelina Jolie came in today, I wouldn’t trade.”

Got to love ya Jon!  Congrats on the success of your latest CD!

Brad Is Filming a Commercial?

Thursday 28 June 2007 @ 6:00 am

Brad Pitt

Is he just bored or what’s going on?  While in Prague with Angelina Jolie, Brad is filming a commercial for a Japanese cell phone.

Are they donating a portion of his salary to a charity?  Why else would he film a commercial?

Skinny Angelina Jolie

Saturday 16 June 2007 @ 9:29 am

Angelina Jolie

“Someone saying to me that I’m thin is not a compliment. I’ve always been lean and this year I lost my mom and I’ve gone through a lot. I have four kids and I finished breastfeeding - it’s been hard to get my nutrition back on track. Instead of people saying I look like a person dealing with something emotionally, they assume it’s because I want to fit into skinny jeans.”

Good for you Angelina for clearing it all up. However, you know the reporters will still harp on you being so thin.

A Mighty Heart

Saturday 16 June 2007 @ 9:19 am

Angelina Jolie

I can completely understand why Angelina Jolie’s reps wanted to censor their interview questions.  I read through what could be asked and what couldn’t be asked.  One thing reporters could not ask was personal questions.  Don’t you think ENOUGH personal information is out there on Angelina?

A Mighty Heart isn’t about Angelina Jolie.  Why would Angelina want to talk about her personal life?  The movie is about a something horrible that happened.  Why take away from the movie and what it represents to ask about what everyone in the world already knows - Angelina and Brad Pitt’s personal life!

Good for Angelina’s reps for enforcing these rules and protecting her!

Brad is a supportive friend?

Monday 11 June 2007 @ 4:17 pm

Angelina Jolie

I was reading the article on Angelina Jolie in U.K.’s Daily Mirror today.

Angelina told the Daily Mirror, “When my mother died Brad held her hand and helped me through all the stages of dealing with someone dying.  After the funeral Brad brought everyone back to the house and asked questions about our mom. He focused on all the love and all the joy we were fortunate enough to have had. He is an extraordinary man.”

She went on to say, “I am a very lucky woman. I have a beautiful family and Brad is a supportive friend and a great father. And he is very romantic. We talk very deeply about how we feel. We’re very similar. We support each other and back each other as parents. There is no divide.”

I am stuck on the supportive friend part.  The term seems a bit cold to me.  I wouldn’t think someone who is madly in love with another person and has a child with them would refer to them as simply a friend.  Very odd!

Angelina is so skinny

Wednesday 6 June 2007 @ 6:54 pm

Angelina Jolie

Angelina is very skinny, however, the one thing she has going for her is that her face doesn’t sink in and make her look ancient.  She has a beautiful face and doesn’t appear to be anorexic but those arms on her, damn, chicken bones!  5′7 and 100 lbs and way too thin.

I will say it again!

Tuesday 5 June 2007 @ 6:58 pm

You’re probably bored (yawn) with me telling how much I am beginning to like Angelina.  I can’t help it.  I don’t know if it is her talking or her publicist telling her what to say but I am really starting to like her!

In a recent interview with Marie Claire, she had said how the best way to get her to open up is naked in the tub!  Now, if I was married to Brad and he had me in a tub, your damn straight I would be opening up!  But then, that isn’t the reason why I like Angelina.

Angelina seems to enjoy parenting, being a parent and having Brad in her life.  Who knows if the relationship will last, but for now, it works!  Married or not, it works.

I did think that Jennifer Aniston and Brad were a good couple and it saddened me that they did split up.  However, when you look at Angelina and Brad together you just want to stare because they just make a beautiful couple.  Off topic a bit but I bet a porn video of theirs would be the top selling porn video in history!!

Angelina and Brad used as paparazzi decoy

Saturday 2 June 2007 @ 8:56 am

Angelina Jolie

How clever of George Clooney, Matt Damon and Don Cheadle.  They use Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as a paparazzi decoy.

Pitt tells Time magazine, “This is not a joke. They used to send me out to take the hits.”

Clooney adds, “We were at the airport in Italy. So I walk off the plane, and it’s ‘Hey, Giorgio!’ And I go, ‘look! Brad Pitt!’ and they’re gone.”

Clooney is no fool.  He knows who the paparazzi want to snap!
